Your GLXCred Score™ is a number between 1 and 100 that represents how trustworthy and influential you are in the GLX Network. The more trustworthy and influential you are, the higher your GLXCred Score™.
We modeled the idea after a Klout Score which measures the accumulation of your influence across all your online networks. When we speak of someone having “clout”, it usually means that they communicate a sense of power or influence, particularly in the political sense. “You’ll wanna talk to that big guy over there if you want me to let you in. He’s got clout.” On Wall Street, and in the financial markets in general, it is also referred to as “Street Cred”.
A GLX personal profile consists of 42 different data fields, many of which members can add multiple entries. Currently a GLXCred Score™ is calculated based on how complete a members profile is. Certain pertinent fields are given more weight in the scoring system than others. You can see the current available fields and their related scores by CLICKING HERE.
In the future GLX will alter our algorithm to add weight into the score that is based on additional parameters. The system will depend more on cross verification of data from other members as well as data related to the reach or influence of a members content and connections in and outside of the GLX Network. GLX will also be applying the GLXCred Score™ to other members of the GLX network such as governments, companies, securities, etc.
In an effort to build a trusted, transparent and integrity based platform the GLXCred Score™ is the core to the GLX Sovereign Identity Management Standard (SIMS)™ which will launch later this year.
